Yggdrasil Northumbrian runes
This handcrafted round wooden box (approx. 15 cm / 6 inches in diameter) is designed to hold a full 33-rune Northumbrian Futhark set, which comes included with the box as a complete set — no need to purchase separately. Each compartment inside is perfectly sized for these expanded runes, offering both beauty and function.
The outer lid features Yggdrasil, the sacred World Tree of Norse mythology. As the axis of all realms, Yggdrasil represents the deep roots of ancestry, the interwoven forces of fate, and the eternal balance of life and death. Having it on the outside grounds the entire set in the heart of Norse cosmology.
Inside the lid is engraved the Triskelion, a triple-spiral symbol of ancient power. Sometimes called the Horns of Odin, this triskele speaks of the flow of time, the cycles of nature, and spiritual transformation. It reflects the threefold nature of existence — mind, body, and spirit — and Odin’s relentless pursuit of knowledge and inspiration.
This sacred box serves as a protective vessel for your rune set and as a symbolic altar piece. Whether you use it in divination, ritual, or study, it connects your practice to the living current of northern wisdom.
